How Your Donation Transforms a Rescued Pet’s Life
From the first vet visit to the day they go home, here is what your gift makes possible for a rescued pet.

When a pet comes into rescue, the journey to a new home has many steps, and each one has a cost. Your donation is what makes that journey possible.
Step 1: Rescue and intake
Animals are brought in from unsafe situations: the street, a neglectful home or a crowded shelter. They are checked for a microchip, examined and given a safe, quiet place to settle.
Step 2: Medical care
Most rescued pets need vaccinations, parasite treatment and spay or neuter surgery. Some need much more, such as dental work, wound care or surgery after an injury. Veterinary care is usually the largest expense for any rescue.
Step 3: Recovery and foster care
Nutritious food, clean bedding and time in a loving foster home help pets regain their health and confidence. Fosters also learn each pet’s personality, which helps us find the right match.
Step 4: Adoption
Finally, we match each pet with a family that fits their needs, and stay in touch after adoption to make sure the transition goes well.
Why recurring gifts matter
One-time gifts are powerful. Recurring donations add something special: predictability. They let us plan ahead, say yes to animals that need urgent care, and keep supplies stocked. Our giving levels show the kind of care your gift helps provide, and you can cancel a recurring gift at any time.
