What is Pet Aid United?
Pet Aid United (legal name PETAID UNITED CORP) is a Colorado Nonprofit Corporation based in Denver. We rescue, shelter and support pets in need, providing medical care, food and loving homes to animals who have been abandoned, abused or neglected.
How can I donate to support your mission?
You can donate securely online with a credit or debit card through Stripe's checkout. Visit our Donate page to give once or on a recurring basis.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
PETAID UNITED CORP is a Colorado Nonprofit Corporation (EIN 30-1450221). We have not yet received IRS 501(c)(3) recognition, so please consult your tax advisor about deductibility. You will receive an email receipt for every donation.
Can I choose where my donation goes?
Most donations go to our general rescue fund so we can direct help where it is needed most. If you would like to support a specific need such as medical care, food or shelter, contact us and we will do our best to honor your request.
How do I know my donation is making a difference?
We share rescue stories and updates on our blog, and you are always welcome to contact us with questions about how donations are used.
Can I cancel a recurring donation or request a refund?
Yes. You can cancel a recurring donation at any time, and mistaken donations can be reviewed within 7 days. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Do you offer pet adoption?
Yes. Once rescued pets have received proper care, we work to match them with safe and loving families. Contact us to ask about pets currently looking for a home.
Can I volunteer or foster?
Absolutely. Whether you want to help at events, foster animals or assist online, we welcome volunteers. Visit Get Involved or contact us to get started.
Is your payment system secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, on an encrypted checkout page. We never see or store your card number.
